Could Natasha Richardson been saved if she had a helicopter??

It's been on the news all week and Natasha Richardson's death became official on Wednesday. Richardson died due to a fall on a beginner's slopes in Quebec but she didn't die right there. After Richardson was taken to a hospital in Montreal on Tuesday and then was flown in to a New York hospital for further examination. Richardson suffered of epidural hematoma due to blunt force trauma to the head. Now ABC's news is saying that maybe she could have been saved if they might have used a helicopter to get her to the hospital right after she fell. Even though she got back up, she told her husband Liam Neeson that she wasn't feeling well. Richardson should have been attended right after the fact because now she is no longer with us. The thing is that Quebec does not have a medical helicopter assistance and the drive to the trauma center they took her was 2 1/2 hours away. That's way too long of a drive and especially under Richardson's condition. It's no wonder that she suffered the way she did and when her family finally saw her, she was no longer there. Unfortunately in this situation, there is no one to blame or punish for this tragedy. May Natasha Richardson rest in peace and condolences goes out to her family.
